1 important "must have" in life

A really good friend of mine mentioned that manners are an important "must have" in life and that many people do not use the manners. Growing up at my grandmothers house, manners were very important. With this I have met many people and then they tell me that I am a very polite, sweet, kind person (not trying to make this about me). Having manners is  kind of a part of building what kind of person you are. For example, Being in the catering business, you meet many people who don't have manners and are completely irrelevant that there are such a thing. Then you have the other people who do have manners and you can tell they are completely happy with how other people treat them. See, I judged them by their manners. When you meet someone with manners you automatically get an rough idea on who this person is, polite, kind, friendly. On the other hand, meeting people who are blind if manners you also get a rough idea of who this person is, ignorant, graceless and blunt. When you raise kids you should really work on manners even if they want understand you. If you say please and thank you eventually they will start to use these polite manners.
